D

D Zimet currently resides in downtown Ithaca with her snake Nietzsche, fiancé, and way too many video games. Though she considers her craft to be a Metal singer, D is classically trained in Vocals, Piano, and Tuba. She also plays guitar and bass. Musical influences include Otep, Crisis, Dresden Dolls, Mudvayne, Alice in Chains, and years and years of Hebrew School.

D’s life story is… well… a pain in the ass to type. My fingers don’t feel like doing it. Basically she grew up in iddy biddy Trumansburg NY till 14, when off to a program school she was sent for some good old fashion fixing. I mean hey, if psychiatric words won’t fix her, boarding school was obviously the way to go! Needless to say her experiences in these years gave her many skills, including teaching her how to write the lyrics we’ve all come to love, and to scream very very loudly into peoples faces. Which we also love.

Joel

I started playing guitar when I was 13. I don't exactly know why because I always wanted to play drums but guitar fell into play so here I am. Grew up in Cortland, NY all my life and would really love to get out of it. My influences would have to be more of todays music rather than older metal. I still love old Metallica and Pantera like it came out yesterday. But my music writting style I would have to say is more of today's hardcore heavy bands. I have to say though that I sucked at playing guitar when I first started. Some of the first songs I learned how to play were from Metallica.

I HATE using TABS. I feel, and this is my opinion, that the real skill comes from the ear. If you can listen to a song and listen to a riff over and over and you still can't figure it out, you need more practice or to me your not cut out for it. I have gone out and bought a CD and learned how to play virtually every song on it within 2 or 3 days. I guess people have different methods but whatever works and makes you sound the best then have at it. All I have to say is practice, practice, practice. I have pretty much played my guitar 10-15 times a week and I still feel I have a lot to learn. My goal from here on out is to get heavier and heavier and create something that a lot of people will be impacted by. I want people to grow up and look back and say that band fuckin wrecked our era. That would pretty much sum it all up. Take er DEEP!!!

Rob

Rob Natoli, originally from Cortland NY, now resides in the Ithaca area with his wife Lynn and dog Brody (there are some cats too…). Mainly a bassist now, Rob is a multi-instrumentalist with a background in fretted, woodwind, percussion and string instruments. His musical influences include primus, Mudvayne, p-funk, nirvana, slipknot, pearl jam, pantera, system of a down, alice in chains, and so on. “Music is definitely my passion, playing, engineering or just screaming obscenities on the way to work every morning.” As a person Rob shows typical bass player traits like hanging out at Staples for hours on end and throwing accordions from the roof of a certain downtown factory building.

As far as a life story goes, Rob went to school in the pisshole town of Dryden where he learned to hate, not to hate groups of people, just how to hate and maybe how to love, maybe,… a little. Shortly after that Rob met a crazy cunt named Tina from another pisshole town, Phoenix City, Alabama. After Rob was totally drained of life by the dirty cocksucker previously mentioned he met Lynn. Five years later they were married and to this day nobody can understand what either of them were thinking.

Rob is now finishing production of Chamber Law’s first release and hopes are high for the band in 2006.

Jason

I grew up in a shithole of a town called Cortland, NY. where theres never anything to do at all. I grew up around metal and hard rock, bands like Metallica,Guns N Roses, Ozzy, and some occasional Pantera. I guess I just got interested and started playing music out of boredom. Me and a couple of friends would be bored so we would head down to the teen center to play some "music".

They made the mistake of letting us play on stage. It was both horrible and awesome at the same time.It sounded so much like shit! But when you are on stage it gives you a feeling like no other, almost like a drug, you want more and more. as a couple years had passed we progressed really fast. I swear I can probably play any instrumet, just give me a couple hours with it. Most of the time that I have played music it has been on the guitar, and really like playing guitar, but i love playing drums alot more. over the years i have gained many influences, mostly metal and hard rock, including, Mudvayne, Metallica, killswitch engage, pantera, chimaira, slipknot, and many others..I belive that as a band "Chamber Law" has been the best band i have ever been in. i dont think of this band as 4 people in a room, this band hasan endless amount of members that have came and gone, and i feel all of our music, now and to come, holds alittle peice of every person or influence that has encounterd Chamber Law ,... and that's just awsome.
